A Piper PA-32 crashed into Long Island Sound; both occupants were rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard and are stable.
The crash occurred about 10:30 a.m. south of the Tweed New Haven Airport in New Haven, Connecticut, according to the FAA.
Both people were in stable condition and taken to a nearby pier, where EMS crews were evaluating them, a U.S. Coast Guard Northeast spokesperson told Newsweek.
