Former MSU golfer Brooke Biermann advances to final of 125th U.S. Women's Amateur
Former Michigan State women's golfer Brooke Biermann outlasted Kansas junior Lyla Louderbaugh in 19 holes on Saturday, Aug. 8, to advance to the 125th U.S. Women's Amateur final at Bandon Dunes Golf Course in Bandon, Oregon.
Biermann, whose dad, Bill, is caddying for her, won the first hole of her 18-hole semifinal match Saturday and never trailed. She is a former Lafayette High standout.
