U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says El Salvador's president has offered to accept deportees from the U.S. of any nationality, including Americans.

Nayib Bukele, El Salvador’s millennial dictator, has offered to house migrants and “dangerous criminals” deported by the United States in his country’s infamous mega jails, according to Marco Rubio.

It is unclear whether the Trump administration plans to send incarcerated U.S. citizens to El Salvador. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the U.S. was “grateful” for the offer.
