Americans grew more worried about the economic outlook in February even as their expectations of the future path of inflation were little changed, a report on Monday from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York said.

U.S. consumers pushed up their short-term inflation expectations slightly and became more pessimistic about their future financial situations, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's February 2025 Survey of Consumer Expectations released on Monday.
