In the heat of summer, there's bad news in the ice cream realm. More than 100,000 bars have been recalled over contamination.

A Florida company is voluntarily recalling over 100,000 cases of ice cream bars sold in multiple states, including California, due to concerns that the bars could be contaminated with potentially dangerous bacteria.

Rich's Ice Cream is recalling 110,292 cases of frozen dessert products across 23 states, including Illinois, due to potential listeria contamination.

After a Department of Homeland Security attorney on Thursday moved to dismiss the case of the man, a strategy federal attorneys have recently been using to make asylum-seekers easier to remove, immigration judge Patrick O’Brien raised doubts over his mental ability, saying, “it’s obvious to me that there are competency issues.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Wednesday announced it had arrested more than 200 immigrants during a 9-day operation that spanned the Denver metro area.

Federal immigration authorities arrested at least 243 undocumented immigrants with varying criminal backgrounds in the Denver area in mid-July, ICE said Wednesday.
