The judge overseeing Lindsay Clancy’s case has ordered the publisher of The New Yorker to turn over recordings of interviews Clancy’s husband gave to the magazine for an article last fall.  Patrick Clancy opened up in the October article about his wife’s mental health and their life apart after Lindsay Clancy allegedly killed their three children and attempted to take her own life at their home in Duxbury in 2023.

Clancy's husband, Patrick, told the magazine that shortly after his wife’s arrest, she called him and said she had heard a voice telling her to kill their children, and then herself.

The New Yorker has been ordered to cough up all audio recordings from an interview with the husband of a Boston mom accused of strangling their three young children in a fit of postpartum depression,

Plymouth County prosecutors said they intend to file a motion to access Lindsay Clancy ‘s medical records, during a brief hearing Friday.

In the lengthy magazine interview, Patrick Clancy regularly stated, “I wasn’t married to a monster. I was married to someone who got sick.”
