Jan. 28 is the rescheduled date for last week’s postponed Rockets-Hawks game in Atlanta. Both teams will be on night two of a back-to-back.

The Houston Rockets' postponed road game against the Atlanta Hawks has been rescheduled to Jan. 28, the NBA announced Wednesday. The new game date slots into the Rockets' schedule between a Jan. 27 game in Boston and a Jan. 30 game in Memphis, and extends Houston’s road trip from three games to four games including a Jan. 25 game in Cleveland.

This was the third meeting between the Memphis Grizzlies and Houston Rockets. Memphis needed things to be differently, and it felt that way for a lot of Monday's game. Ja Morant and Desmond Bane came right out of the gates and knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers to put Memphis on the board.

The third-seeded Memphis Grizzlies suffered a very important loss against the second-seeded Houston Rockets on Monday night. To make matters worse, it looks like a big reason for the loss could be attributed to a costly mistake by the NBA officials.
