Fans attending the Allstate Sugar Bowl between Georgia and Notre Dame will see increased security at the game following the deadly Bourbon Street attack in New Orleans. The event held at Caesars Superdome was postponed for the first time in the Sugar Bowl's history.

The postponement comes after a man, identified as 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar, intentionally drove a pickup truck through a crowd on Bourbon Street in the early hours of New Year’s Day, according to the FBI. At least 10 people were killed and over 30 were injured.
