Thieves made off with three paintings by Renoir, Cézanne and Matisse worth millions of euros from a museum near the city of Parma in northern Italy, police said Monday.

Paintings by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cezanne and Henri Matisse have been stolen from a museum in northern Italy, in a brazen heist that took just three minutes, according to authorities.

“The criminals struck in less than three minutes, not in an impromptu manner but in a well-organised way,” the museum said.
