Dallas Weather: Frigid wind chills, warming up midweek
A cold front brought freezing temperatures and strong winds to North Texas, while the moving system is causing significant travel disruptions to the east and is expected to be followed by a gradual warming trend locally next week.
Light rain is possible in San Antonio Sunday, but heavier rain and flooding may occur across a larger part of the state.
Gov. Abbott activates Texas emergency resources ahead of severe weather, including potential flooding, high winds, and tornadoes.
Severe thunderstorms could develop between about 10 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday, mainly to the east of 281. There is a risk of damaging wind and large hail.
