Amy Poehler hosted “Saturday Night Live” this weekend and welcomed her bestie Tina Fey for a surprise appearance during the episode’s cold open, where they spoofed Attorney General Pam Bondi’s recent Senate hearing.
The "Saturday Night Live" skit spoofed Pam Bondi's stonewalling, Kristi Noem's history of killing a dog, and President Donald Trump's preferred hair color.
“Loving Amy Poehler!” the AG tweeted in part after the show, USA Today reported. Poehler joined fellow “SNL” alum Tina Fey for the cold open on the show. Fey played Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.
During the Saturday Night Live skit, Tina Fey, who played Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, walked up to Poheler with an assault rifle in her arms. She gave an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) recruitment speech — parodying a real advertisement from ICE featuring Noem.
"He got the Lebron hairline, lowkey though," Carpenter's Tayson said with understated, authentic delivery, followed by a low-pitched giggle. Later in the show, the four welcomed President Donald Trump (James Austin Johnson) for a lighthearted interview, like so many credulous podcasters who target young men did during the 2024 election.
