Cam Fancher has made 26 prior starts, splitting time between Marshall and Florida Atlantic. His 27th will come for UCF against Jax State this week.

Fancher was reported to have been named the Knights' starting quarterback by CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz on Wednesday morning.

Scott Frost leads the UCF Knights into an unpredictable 2025 season, beginning with an Aug. 28 game vs. Jacksonville State.
