Kentucky’s Tonie Morgan earns national player of the week honors

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - University of Kentucky women’s basketball senior point guard Tonie Morgan has been named a U.S. Basketball Writers Association Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Week and co-Southeastern Conference Player of the Week, both organizations announced Tuesday.

WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A Kentucky woman charged with fetal homicide has been indicted. Melinda S. Spencer, 35, of Campton, was indicted by a Wolfe County grand jury on charges of fetal homicide in the first degree, abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence.
