Just as all three eaglets hatched from their eggs in the Big Bear nest about one week ago, on Friday morning, only two of the little ones could be seen bobbing about for their feeding.The Friends of Big Bear Valley's nest cam captures the nest life of Jackie and Shadow.

As beautiful as nature is, it can also be cruel. While there’s no confirmation of anything yet, there appeared to be just two eaglets inside of the Big Bear nest of Jackie and Shadow on Friday morning.

Sandy Steer, Executive Director of Friends of Big Bear Valley said Friday morning that the nest view is obstructed by snow, saying all there is to do is watch and wait.
