Buckeyes blitz #1 Oregon in Rose Bowl, advance to national semifinals: ‘We played angry’
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Ohio State blew out top-seeded Oregon 41-21 Wednesday in the Rose Bowl, advancing to the national semifinals against Texas. Freshman sensation Jeremiah Smith had 7 catches for 187 yards and 2 touchdowns as 8th-seeded OSU (12-2) raced to an early 34-0 lead. He was named Rose Bowl offensive MVP.
