Between Happy Gilmore 2, The Naked Gun reboot and now, Freakier Friday, it certainly seems like it. And I don’t know about you, but I’ve been laughing a lot more lately due to this trend. In regards to the latest of them,

The body-swappers are back! In “Freakier Friday,” Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan return, 22 years after delightfully switching bodies as mom and daughter in “Freaky Friday.”

For me, watching Freakier Friday -- the new sequel to the 2003 body-switch comedy starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis -- led to a change in perspective: I was now a fan of two Freaky Friday movies headlined by Lohan and Curtis.
