More than a year after launching its "Hulu on Disney Plus experience" in the US, Disney announced plans to integrate Hulu into the Disney Plus streaming service. Additionally, Hulu will become available internationally once the merger happens next year, the company shared in its third-quarter earnings report on Wednesday.

Disney is going to start forcing Hulu viewers over to Disney Plus — and depending on how you've been subscribing, that could get expensive.

Walt Disney Co. is integrating Hulu and Disney+ into one app, the entertainment company announced Wednesday. During an earnings call, CEO Bob Iger said Disney would combine the two streaming services to create a "unified app experience" that will feature entertainment, news and sports.
