The world’s No. 1 golfer from the United States won the 153rd Open Championship on Sunday at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland, adding a fourth major title to his surging career and moving one step closer to a career Grand Slam.

This British Open was never in doubt Sunday as golf’s No. 1 player delivered another dominant performance to win his second major this year and grab the third leg of the career Grand Slam.

The Open Championship is being played outside Great Britain for only the third time in the event’s 153-year history.

The Open Championship returns to Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland, the epic site of Irishman Shane Lowry’s dominant win in 2019.
