Former Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey has been charged with multiple allegations of rape and sexual assault against three women, the CPS has revealed. The 32-year-old has been charged following a lengthy Metropolitan Police investigation.

Arsenal were in talks over extending his contract at the club, but no deal came to fruition and with his contract ending on June 30, he left the club. Four days after leaving the Gunners, Partey has been charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.
