It’s been a very busy week for Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang. After meeting with President Donald Trump and senior officials in Beijing in recent days, Huang has secured a major victory for his AI-chip empire.

NVIDIA has been called in by Chinese regulators over claims that its H20 AI chip poses security risks, putting billions in potential sales at stake.

Jensen Huang pulled off something of a political miracle this week for Nvidia shareholders. As the U.S. and China continue to growl at one another over tariffs and other elements of the trade war between the two countries and the race to attain AI superiority, Huang convinced Donald Trump to lift the ban on select AI chip sales to China.
