Connor Bedard scored for the third straight games, Spencer Knight made 26 saves and the Chicago Blackhawks beat the Los Angeles Kings 2-1 on Thursday night.

After being limited to one goal again in Thursday’s 2-1 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks, the Kings dropped to 29th in scoring.

The Kings have struggled to score goals this season, and the front office will likely be trying to fix that in Anze Kopitar's last year.

Captain Anze Kopitar opened the scoring for Los Angeles, burying his goal early in the first period, drawing the Kings' first blood over Vancouver. From there, the momentum swung back and forth with Vancouver responding in the second period to tie it up 1-1 heading to the final frame.

Darcy Kuemper makes 34 saves, but the Kings drop a 2-1 decision, held to two goals or fewer for the seventh time in nine games. They have lost six of their past eight.

Sacramento looks to end its four-game slide when the Kings play Miami. The teams square off Saturday for the first time this season.
