Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes was a Pro Bowl snub despite his role in leading Kansas City to a 15-1 record and a No. 1 seed for the AFC playoffs

The Kansas City Chiefs will rest quarterback Patrick Mahomes and other starters in Sunday's regular-season finale against the host Denver Broncos. The Chiefs (15-1) have locked up the No. 1 seed in the AFC and head coach Andy Reid confirmed Wednesday that veteran Carson Wentz will be under center on Sunday.

All Mahomes has done since signing that last contract is win two Super Bowls and earn two Pro Bowl spots, and he led the NFL with 5.250 yards in 2021. Mahomes now has the Chiefs as the top team in the NFL at 15-1, and still holds the all-time record for postseason quarterback rating, at 105.8.
