Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital announced this week that it is planning to open a new pediatric hospital in the west Chicago suburb of Downers Grove.
The low-acuity pediatric hospital is expected to include a pediatric emergency department, surgery suites, inpatient beds and key pediatric sub-specialties, Lurie Chidren's said in a press release.
The low-acuity hospital will include an ED, surgery suites, inpatient beds, and subspecialties such as oncology and cardiology.
