Kevin Stefanski is back to calling plays. For what it’s worth, the Cleveland Browns’ struggles this season had little to do with who the play caller was. That said, with the team announcing Tommy Rees was getting promoted to offensive coordinator, it makes sense Stefanski would resume calling the plays.

FOXBORO, Mass. (WKBN) – Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports is reporting that Cleveland Browns quarterbacks coach Ashton Grant is being hired for the same position with the New England Patriots. Grant has been with the Browns since 2020. He joins new Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel who spent the 2024 season as a consultant with Cleveland.

Grant is a Connecticut native who attended Assumption University in Worcester. So this is a homecoming for the man set to replace T.C. McCartney.
