Visitation was also suspended at a number of facilities on Wednesday, according to DOCCS — including Elmira, Attica, Auburn, Five Points, Upstate, Clinton, Wende, Green Haven, Coxsackie and Eastern New York Correctional Facilities.

Corrections officers at prisons all over New York State are going on strike. The list now includes, Attica, Auburn, Collins, Elmira, Lakeview, Wende and Wyoming.

As NY state prison guards are on strike​, all visitations are canceled at facilities statewide, the Department of Corrections says.

On the fourth day of statewide prison strikes and protests, visitations at all of New York's 42 correctional facilities have been canceled until further notice.
