The weather service says Norfolk, Portsmouth, Suffolk and most of Chesapeake and Virginia Beach is likely to see 3-4 inches of snow. Higher amounts are possible.
A few snow flurries are possible on Wednesday, especially along the Cumberland Plateau. Temperatures will start around freezing. Afternoon high, 38 degrees, although it’ll feel colder with a breeze.
Use caution driving as black ice- or snow-covered roads could result in slick spots.
