Starbucks (NASDAQ: SBUX) has initiated a new code of conduct this month, aiming to enhance the safety and experience for both its customers and staff across North America, according to a Monday report by the Wall Street Journal.

Starbucks introduced a new Coffeehouse Code of Conduct to redefine what a “customer” is in its stores. You may recall in 2018, Starbucks made it clear that anyone who “enters [the] space” is considered a customer,
