Thousands of Welsh and English football fans have arrived in the Swiss city of St. Gallen before Sunday's Euro 2025 match between the two countries. A win will guarantee England's Lionesses a place in the last eight of the tournament. Wales will be eliminated unless they beat England by four goals or more and the Netherlands lose to France.

England's Euro 2025 group finale is against neighbouring Wales. The Lionesses are heavily favoured to win and advance.

ST. GALLEN, Switzerland — In a game of soccer or any sport, Wales always wants to beat England. At the Women’s European Championship on Sunday, Wales can eliminate the defending champion English just with a draw in the final round of Group D games. Group leader France plays the third-placed Netherlands at the same time.

A place in the quarter-finals is up for grabs as defending champions England and tournament debutants Wales go head-to-head.

England and Wales will face-off at Switzerland's Arena St. Gallen on Sunday at 8pm UK time. You can watch it on ITV1, and ITVX, with pre-match coverage beginning at 7pm. A win by defending champions England against Wales – the lowest-ranked team in the tournament – would be enough to book the Lionesses a place in the quarter finals.

Wales can prevent England from reaching the knockout stages should they take at least a draw from Sunday's final group stage fixture.

Wales coach Rhian Wilkinson said her team would love nothing more than to spoil England's party when the neighbours and rival nations meet in their final Euro 2025 Group D match on Sunday.
