First discovered: 10:18 p.m. Feb. 3 A new wildfire was reported today at 10:18 p.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. Currently, there is no data on the containment status of the fire and the cause has yet to be determined.

The stars came out for FireAid and so did wallets — the massive benefit concert last week to raise money for those affected by the devastating Los Angeles-area wildfires is expected to raise more than $100 million.

The FireAid concerts held in Los Angeles last month have raised raise more than $100 million to help those affected by the blazes which ripped through southern California at the start of the year.

The $100 million estimate includes donations, ticket sales, sponsorships, merchandise, private gifts and matching donations.

With fundraising still ongoing, proceeds raised from the FireAid benefit concert are expected to exceed $100 million. FireAid funds will support the Los Angeles-region’s immediate needs and long-term recovery from the recent wildfires made possible through the overwhelming generosity of those throughout Southern California and around the world.
