Marvel's 'Thunderbolts*' is still on top of box office charts, while Ryan Coogler's 'Sinners' has now crossed the $200 million mark in North America.

Disney/Marvel Studios’ “Thunderbolts*” faced no new competition in its second weekend at the box office; and thanks to strong critical and audience reception, it is earning a respectable $35 million in its second weekend.

Thunderbolts*” is still shaking up the box office. On its second Friday in theaters, the Marvel movie remained in first place, raking in $9 million, according to The Numbers. It is expected to take in close to $35 million this Mother’s Day weekend.
