A tornado warning has been issued for Osage County until 9:15 a.m. At 8:45 a.m., a severe squall line capable of producing tornadoes that may not be visible due to heavy rain was located 3 miles northeast of Wynona, moving northeast at 50 mph. A tornado watch is in effect until noon for the following northeastern Oklahoma counties:

A tornado that moved through Purcell during Thursday's severe weather outbreak has been confirmed as an EF-2, according to the National Weather Service.
Debris and damage were found after a tornado touched down Thursday morning in Purcell. Around 7:30 a.m., radar confirmed tornado debris near North Fourth Street east of Highway 77. KOCO 5 Field Meteorologist Michael was in Purcell shortly afterward, showing some fences knocked down and limbs on the ground.
Thursday morning brought severe thunderstorms producing at least four tornadoes. They were quick, spin-ups but did cause damage from Purcell to Shawnee.

After a bout of severe weather and tornadoes crossed Oklahoma, the Sooner State will likely see more cold and precipitation into the week ahead.
