Netflix’s NFL debut kicked off on Christmas Day without a glitch. Mariah Carey opened Wednesday’s doubleheader with a taped performance of “All I Want for Christmas is You” before Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the two-time defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs faced off against Russell Wilson, T.J. Watt and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

According to preliminary Nielsen numbers, which don't include international viewers, this Christmas Day broke NFL all-time streaming records. Once the international viewership numbers come in, the record margin will be even higher.

Two holiday matchups averaged over 24 million viewers each, eclipsing the previous NFL streaming record and marking a triumphant entry for Netflix.
