The search is over for a Queen of the May and her King to accompany her during this year’s MayFest celebrations.

Ten-year-olds Ava Cropper and Finley McGuinness were revealed as the May Queen and King at the MayFest Reveal Appeal fundraiser.

A traditional market town with a stunning Norman Castle, Richmond is located on the northern fringes of the Yorkshire Dales.

The Castle Players will perform The Inn at the Top, a play about the highest pub in the British Isles, at the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond.
