Maple Valley's multiple-Grammy Award-winning roots rocker scored an Oscar nomination for "Never Too Late," written with Elton John, Bernie Taupin and Andrew Watt.

Elton John and Brandi Carlile have been nominated for an Academy Award for their original song, "Never Too Late", from the new Elton doc.

Formally, Clément Ducol and Camille are nominated for both Emilia Pérez songs (with director Jacques Audiard also being nominated for co-writing the lyrics to “El Mal”). Diane Warren is the nominee for The Six Triple Eight ’s “The Journey”;
