Ouch! A New York woman vacationing on a Florida beach is recovering after a pickup truck “ran over her head” while she tanned in her chair. The tourist’s name has not been released, but the incident happened in Daytona Beach on Wednesday just before 3 p.

The driver, an 84-year-old DeLeon Springs woman, pulled out of a parking spot around 2:43 p.m. near the Silver Beach Avenue ramp. When the driver made a right turn toward the beach exit, she ran over the New York woman sitting in a beach chair, according to the initial investigation.
