An Israeli drone strike has hit a car near Beirut, killing one person and injuring three others, according to Lebanon's state news agency.

Three children were among the wounded in the overnight attack, with one in critical condition, said regional Governor Oleh Kiper.

“The enemy attacked the Poltava community on July 3. A fire broke out at the site, and civilian infrastructure sustained damage. According to preliminary data, unfortunately, two people were killed and 11 were injured,” he wrote. Emergency services are currently operating at the scene.
