Friday’s talks between European ministers and Iran’s top diplomat, which aimed at de-escalating the fighting between the two adversaries, failed to produce a breakthrough.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that any military action by the U.S. in the escalating war with Israel would be "very, very dangerous for everybody."

Citing a message from Trump, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters: "Based on the fact that there's a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks."
