Lady Gaga is finally opening up about her long-lost alter ego: Jo Calderone. Jo’s debut to the world was on the September 2010 cover of Japanese Men’s Vogue and then was also featured in the “Yoü and I” music video.

While Lady Gaga has retired the drag king persona that she debuted in 2011, she acknowledges that “Jo was an important character for me.”
