Elon Musk's SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket loaded with nearly two dozen Starlink communication satellites into space early Tuesday from Florida.

KENNEDY SPACE CENTER — While many were asleep in their warm beds, SpaceX launched more than 20 Starlink satellites early Tuesday morning. The Falcon 9 rocket launched the Starlink 13-1 mission from Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A at 12:24 a.m. ET, stated SpaceX .

SpaceX launched 21 of its Starlink internet satellites early Jan. 21, five days after a test flight of the company's Starship megarocket ended in an explosion.

SpaceX for the third time scrubbed plans to launch 27 more Starlink internet satellites into low-Earth orbit from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California with an earlier one postponed because of a Delta jet nearby.

The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has suspended SpaceX rocket flights following the explosion of the upper stage of the Starship/Super Heavy. An investigation is necessary due to the space debris that fell to Earth after the explosion.
