The NFL has reached its final destination in the 2024 regular season: Week 18. For some, this will mark the end of the road as they'll play out the string and fade off into the offseason. Others will embark on a run toward the playoffs and kickstart a run they all hope will land them in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX.

And while the current NFL playoff picture is pretty clear in AFC (six of the seven teams have clinched spots) and the NFC (one spot is available), that means there are still squads that are very much alive heading into the final week of regular-season action.

The Detroit Lions are the Kings of the NFC with seven Pro Bowl selections, including quarterback Jared Goff, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown. The Minnesota Vikings (six), Philadelphia Eagles (six), and Dallas Cowboys (five) were the only other teams in the NFC with at least five Pro Bowl selections.

There have been 58 Super Bowls played in NFL history, and somehow, there are still 12 teams that have yet to win a Lombardi Trophy. However, that number could be going down by one this year and that's because there are five teams in the playoffs that will have a chance to end their Super Bowl drought.
