With the 2026 Honda Passport SUV, the company has upped the off-road prowess quite a bit to compete against immediate rivals.

The most obvious indication of this is the design that in many ways harkens back to the 1997-2002 second-generation model that was built by Isuzu. The new Passport has a chunkier, more squared off design with a flatter, longer hood, slightly more upright windshield and similar kick-up at the beltline toward the back of the rear doors.

After a series of teasers, Honda has officially revealed the 2026 Passport, boasting a rugged design, enhanced off-road capability, and a powerful, albeit retained V6 engine. The fourth-generation Passport emphasizes both on-road refinement and off-road prowess for those seeking a versatile midsize SUV.
