Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is the latest Disney Plus series to take place in a galaxy far, far away. Instead of focusing on a lead Jedi hero, the program follows four unlikely child heroes who, after an unbelievable discovery, find themselves journeying to the far reaches of the galaxy.

Skeleton Crew Episode 6 opens with what is easily the show’s most blatant homage/rip-off of The Goonies, which is pretty impressive given Episode 5 was basically the moment Mikey finds One Eyed Willie’s treasure,

Skeleton Crew is an upcoming live-action American television series created by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford for the streaming service Disney+. It is part of the Star Wars franchise, taking place in the same time frame as The Mandalorian and its interconnected spin-offs after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983).

I am shocked but not at all disappointed to say that this week's episode of Skeleton Crew, "Zero Friends Again," might tie for that number one spot for me. The brilliance of this episode lies in its determination to discomfort the audience.
