A rash of late-night tornados on Saturday has residents in North Texas surveying damage on Easter morning. Nine tornadoes were reported on Saturday night, according to WFAA Dallas. Several of these tornadoes were confirmed to have touched down near communities west of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

On Saturday at 8:22 p.m. the NWS Fort Worth TX issued an updated tornado watch in effect until Sunday at midnight. The watch is for Denton, Parker, Wise, Cooke, Grayson, Jack, Montague and Palo Pinto counties.
