Mufasa: The Lion King’s weekend actuals came in higher, and with that, the movie regained its crown at the domestic box office. Per Deadline, Mufasa: The Lion King is projected to earn $11.5 million through Sunday and $15.5 million through the four-day MLK holiday weekend. If the estimate holds it will boost Mufasa’s running domestic tally to $209.7 million since its Dec. 20, 2024, opening.
