Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney on Sunday placed flowers and lit a candle at a memorial for those killed in an attack in Vancouver over the weekend.

Liberal Leader Mark Carney cancelled two planned rallies and scaled back other events on the final day of the federal election campaign, in the wake of the Vancouver festival attack. Carney is expected to visit Vancouver before flying back to Ottawa.
