Jacob Humphrey left Vanderbilt baseball's series opener against Ole Miss before the bottom of the third inning with an apparent injury. Humphrey was replaced in right field by David Mendez.

Vanderbilt baseball lost its third road series in four tries this season, this time against Ole Miss, but was able to salvage the finale as Connor Fennell threw a shutout in a run-rule win.
