After two long and grueling series, the Dallas Stars and Winnipeg Jets look to recover in time to begin their second-round battle on Wednesday night.

The St. Louis Blues were one overtime period away from playing in the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Adam Lowry ended the Blues’ season 16 minutes into the second overtime, forcing them to start their offseason early.

The key for the Stars is Connor Hellebuyck, almost certain to win his third Vezina Trophy in six years, continuing to play poorly on the road. He wasn’t good in any of the three games at St. Louis. The Blues won them all but could not win a single game in Manitoba.
