A viral exanthem rash causes spots, bumps or blotches on your skin. They can appear anywhere on your body but often start on your face or trunk and then spread. The rash may or may not be itchy.

Sometimes you may see that you have slight flu like symptoms with rash accompanied by mild fever, headaches, rash, swollen and inflamed skin and various other allergic conditions. This may be a conventional illness or may also be the cause of something more than just a standard disease.
