The Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Act, NRS Chapter 618, provides job safety and health protection for workers through the promotion of safe and healthful working conditions throughout the State of Nevada.
If a violation of NRS 618.445 is found, Nevada OSHA can seek remedies for the employee such as reinstatement, back pay, and work benefits. An adverse action includes, but is not limited to: Termination or lay off Discipline; Reduction of pay or hours; Denial of a promotion; Denial of work benefits; Harassment; Blacklisting
