Big Sur-CA, A 4 day search was conducted last week on a south coast beach of Big Sur just north of Gorda. Two friends were spearfishing in a cove and one of the free divers did not re-surface. The Monterey County Sheriff’s Office Big Sur resident deputy who is also an MCSO drone operator, responded late Sunday afternoon (July 26) to conduct an initial search of the area.
